Infact, although the original manufacturer's warranty on the Alfa (It's a March 04 model 1.9 JTD 147 Lusso) has expired, Alfa has agreed to pay the ÂŁ1,800-ÂŁ2,000 that the repairs are going to cost as a "goodwill gesture" (car has only done 38,000 miles and has a FSH etc).
